What I like to do as a hobby?-see picture below
What would I do to make school a more intresting and enticing place?
My teacher told me to answer the question shown above.  Here is my response in writing.  Click on the link above to hear my audio response

To make the school a better place first i would blow it up.  The school has way to many problems to fix so that's why I would blow it up.  Once blown up and the party has finished... rebuild.  Remake the school but better we could use an actual weight room, a new gym and the class rooms seriously need work but what we need most if janitors that actually  do something.  If you really wanted to make the kids at Rosemount happy you would need just to blow up the school and leave it like that.  Yes i'm serious about blowing it up because you can ask anyone in the hallway they hate this school down to the gum that sticks to the bottom of your shoe.  Another part of the problem though is the kids that don't care about the school so we would also have to fix that, showing some discipline would work nicely.

My ideas on what i would do to make the world a better place

To make the world a better place, we would first have to solve the hunger problem, and then we would have to
solve the violence.  There isn't much you can say on what you could do to make the world a better place,
because there are just to many problems even if the world was designed to be the perfect place (if you
believe in a Supreme Being).  The world will always have a violence problem because humanity has an issue
with being conceded and everyone wants more land or is jealous so that’s why the violence will never be
solved, and the hunger will never be solved because first of all no one wants to become a farmer because
lets face it its not the most glamorous job in the world and second of all if we can't even solve hunger in our
own country how do you expect us to solve world hunger.  I wish for a perfect world but then again what’s
perfect?  to me, perfect is something completely different then your perspective of perfect so... to achieve
perfect you would have to do that one on your own.  If I could solve the problem though I would do like I
mentioned above and solve hunger first, then violence then I would solve global warming because there is no
point of solving the above mentioned things if we don’t have a planet to live on.  That’s what I would do to make the world a better place.

What is culture and why is it important to me?
My Teacher asked me to answer the Questions, what is culture and why is it important to me. Here is my response in writing.

Culture is a set of learned beliefs, values and behaviors in a shared member of a society. It is also the accumulated habits, attitudes and beliefs of a group of people that define their general behavior and way of life, or the total set of learned activities of people.
Culture is important because it affects the organization of learning, the rules at school and the activities. Culture also affects the education in school like the teaching and learning in the classrooms. Culture also has a strong impact on our work and life and this can lead to cultural groups that have a strong foundation for understanding other communities.

My Prospective Business Venture

Subject: Business venture

Ref: A. Homework concerning business issue December 6, 2006

Dear Leo Steinberger

One day I hope to run a fine running business, successful ,and self sufficient.  The business I plan to start is a catering company ;  I hope for the business to be located somewhere in Montreal. The number of workers to be hired is to be determined on the demand for different products, but to start off I will need two or three chefs, one or two bakers, two dishwashers, and some helpers around the kitchen and 3 or more delivery boys based on sales.  The name of the business will be Eugenio’s named after a restaurant that my father owned as a child.

I am interested in starting this business because I have always loved cooking since my years as a child and from the day I got my first job working in the kitchen at a camp feeding one thousand people.  Through all the stress and hard times came fun and from that point I knew that when I grew up I would have to join a food branch of some type.  I chose a catering business because one. I could cook from the comfort of my own home or I could do it in a big kitchen and two.  It is always easier to get money from a big party like a wedding or a funeral, because the consumer of today is less knowledgeable of what they buy they are willing more to buy pre made food and that is why I would want to start a catering business.

I would want the business to be located on the island of Montreal preferably because it is where I was born and I love the town and the culture.  The name is Eugenio’s because as I said before it is the name of the restaurant my father used to own for 13 years and I always loved being at the restaurant.

Below is  my business logo:

My business slogan is: When you eat here you eat good

Sincerely yours,

Gabriel Madrigrano

I was born in Montreal, Quebec on May 26, 1990.

My mom immigrated to Montreal when she was 9 years old from Italy and my dad was born right here in Montreal. Both my parents are Italian(from Sicily). My Grand-Parents immigrated here from a small town in Sicily called Montelegro around the year 1970.
My maternal grand-father was in the war and he then married my grand-mother around 1955. My Grand parents on my mom's side then gave birth to my mom in 1956 who is the oldest in the family, and then gave birth to three more boys and a girl while my paternal grand-parents gave birth to two sons, one of which is my dad, who was born in 1961. My mom and her parents moved around Montreal allot and my dad lived in St-Laurence and then moved around with his parents and grand-mother. My parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, my mom came into the religion 35 years ago, while my dad came into it 28 years ago. In 1990 my parents then gave birth to me and moved obove my paternal grand-parents in a duplex in St-Leonard. I'am a only child.
I started school in 1995 at Nesbitt Grade School then graduated in 2002. Then I went to Rosemount High later in 2002 and I'm in my 4th year at this school, but unfoutunetly my maternal grand-father died earlier that year. These fifteen years I've met many great people who I like to hang with all year around I love to eat tasty Italian food from my grand-mothers and mother. In the future I plan on taking a trade in plumbing and succeding in this profession but for now I will try to do my best at school and have a fun time with my friends.
